IT Manager

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to support the IT systems that are seen as key to allowing the business to meet its operational requirements and business growth goals. DB Foods creates multiple systems including its own bespoke solutions, creating a Microsoft Technology Stack, including SQL/D365 Virtual Technology/Web/ASP.net and Android.

This role is well-suited for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys being deeply involved in both strategic decisions and technical problem-solving, and is motivated by the challenge of driving operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with other senior leaders to ensure IT infrastructure supports business goals and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising daily operations of network and server infrastructure
  • Recruitment, management and development of IT Team
  • Aligning IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals
  • Managing outsourced IT provider relationship, ensuring service KPI’s are met
  • Managing / Supporting the IT budget
  • Evaluating risk, developing network recovery and backup processes
  • Assessing and purchasing hardware and licensing, taking advantage of new technologies to enhance the business offering
  • Evaluate current IT Software and build case studies to invest in new software, where required
  • Oversee and contribute to project management activities related to IT initiatives
  • Assuring that IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes and regulations
  • Testing, troubleshooting and adjusting information systems to operate effectively
  • Implementing security of the network, data and its storage and communication systems
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within IT operations 

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in IT management, project management and people management
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work toward tight schedules and deadlines and problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude to any change
