After its tremendous success during last year’s barbecue season, DB Foods is welcoming the return of its #DBFire campaign for the summer of 2022.

Combining an exclusive mix of meats, marinades and sauces, DB Foods saw a surge in demand for outdoor cooking products in 2021.  Though some might attribute the success to the ability for people to socialise outside during lockdowns, restrictions and the closure of eateries, early signs indicate that outdoor cooking, grilling and the attraction of the barbecue is maintaining its popularity.

‘Whilst some are still being cautious for health reasons, others are keen to enjoy the relaxed and less expensive form of dining in their own back garden’, says George Holliday, Sales Director.  ‘With prices rising in every area of our lives, people are turning to their butchers as a less expensive way of enjoying the finest meats for family get togethers, celebrations or simply making the most of fine summer weather’.

To mark the start of Barbecue Season 2022, DB Foods is bringing back its social media campaign ‘DB Fire’ where members of the team share both the traditional and less recognised meats ideal for the outdoor grill.

‘The past 12 months have seen us launch new ranges of sundries and our in-house premium range ‘DB Select’ that our butchers can rely on to create a wide range of products for the barbecue’, George explains. ‘We show meat hand cut in our Boning Hall and how marinades can create a distinct flavour perfect for cooking on the grill’.
